> What is 14K rose gold filled metal? It is a higher quality, more durable alternative to gold plated. It has a thick layer of 14K gold (many times thicker than gold plated) bonded to a base metal core, for long lasting wearability. The gold will not flake or peel off, and it is and nickel-free.
> What is rose gold vermeil? Normal gold plated jewelry usually contains less than 1 micron of gold plating. Burnish vermeil gold jewelry is given an extra thick 2.5 micron gold plate over sterling silver, for extra long lasting wearability. Many jewelry items that claim to be vermeil, actually have a much thinner layer of gold than what is required by the FTC to be called vermeil. Additionally, no nickel has been used in the plating (to avoid any allergic reactions), and an extra clear e-coat has been added at the end to extend the life of the gold even longer.
